Anthony Saikin

Biography

Anthony graduated from James Madison University in 2012 with a B.S. in Physics. He began attending the University of New Hampshire in the fall of 2012 where he pursued a PhD. in Physics. During his time at the University of New Hampshire, Anthony received the Outstanding Student Paper Award from the American Geophysical Union (2015), the Los Alamos National Laboratory Vela Fellowship (2016) and the New Hampshire Space Grant graduate fellowship (2017). He successfully defended his PhD thesis, “The spatial distributions, wave properties, and generation mechanisms of inner magnetosphere EMIC waves” in the fall of 2018. Now, Anthony works as a postdoc researcher at the University of California, Los Angeles.
